December 15 – More Choices That Matter

Yesterday we talked about how problems are not your problems, but rather the decisions you make and the actions you take in response to them. Today we will look at some more quality choices that you must make:
Choose to research. Answers are all around you! Your answer is somewhere! Because you are not going to allow your emotions to rule over you during problem solving, you should put your mind to work. Take the time to research any and all options around you.
Choose to respond. Never react but respond! What’s the difference? Reaction is motivated by emotion. Responding is motivated by deliberate calculation. When one reacts, there is an emotionally charged action. When you take the time to respond, you are calculating how to manage and solve the problem.
Choose to rely. If you are going to fulfill this vision God has given you and overcome any and all problems you face, you will need to decide to trust God. To trust God means to walk by faith and choose to believe Gods report concerning your situation.
Choose to rejoice. The choice to praise God before you can see the results. This last choice is purely an act of faith! I am thankful to God for His presence and promises and I know that when this problem is settled, I will be victorious.
Prayer: Father, I choose Your way, which is life and that more abundantly! I rejoice in your faithfulness to me as Your child. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thought: I give thanks in everything, for God is on my side!
