We ended yesterday with this statement; the only way that you will succeed is through willful obedience. This is the pathway to promotion. You must truly embrace this mentality and be committed to walk in it.
So what will it take for you to walk in willful obedience? First, you will need to accept God as the most significant Being in your life. The one who is the most important will have the most influence and the right to give you instructions. If someone else occupies this role, you will find it very difficult to obey God. If acceptance from God alone is your priority, then you will be able to operate in consistent obedience. If, on the other hand, you need acceptance from anyone else, you will be prone to compromise! This will nullify your ability to make bold moves for God. God will ask you to take moves that others will not understand and their inability to understand does not negate what God told you.
Next you will need to take actions, bold steps of obedience, without full or complete understanding. Now keep in mind, God will never tell you to do anything that violates His will or your integrity and witness.
Lastly, you should appropriate the power of God to help you to obey. This is called grace. When the pressure mounts, you will need to declare this grace over your life to keep you in a state of obedience. You cannot turn back once you have stepped out in faith. You will lose your momentum. Remember, the devil wants you to get out of obedience because he knows you will never receive God’s best in a state of disobedience. Make the commitment to obey God- no matter how long it takes for your faith to manifest results.
