Dec 28 – Be Obedient

As we are winding down, this year, you must understand that if you are going to see your vision come to past, you must be obedient. There are rewards to obedience. In fact, God’s best only comes through obedience. Obedience is a learned behavior. When you do what God tells you to do, you will always receive from God’s abundant storehouse. The choice to obey God is the choice to spend your days enjoying the best that God has to offer: “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures”.Job 36:11 (KJV). As you continue on this journey, past our time together, you must have a willingness and readiness to obey God’s instructions.
There is no substitute for obedience – though many wish there were! God’s divine power is always the end result of obedience. Your success in life depends on your obedience. Obedience is defined as a calculated choice to comply and carry out the will of God. There are three types of obedience: constrained, partial, and willful. Constrained obedience is forced obedience that is imposed because of circumstances, age, or other outside confinements. The will is not involved, but obedience is imposed on the Believer by external forces (not God). Partial obedience is where many people live. You should know that, ultimately, partial obedience is disobedience. Following most of what God says will not lead you to the manifestation of your vision. The only way that you will succeed is through willful obedience. This is the pathway to promotion.

Prayer: Father, You are first place in my life! I will set my will to obey You in all things. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Thought: The only way that you will succeed is through willful obedience. This is the pathway to promotion.
